The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to remove and de-seal the petitioner's premises at Door No.56, Anna Salai, Chennai and to permit the petitioner to continue the business until the disposal of the appeal filed before the learned Principal District Judge, Chennai.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the first respondent submits that the eviction proceedings has been initiated against the petitioner's premises under the Public premises (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1971. Against the order passed by the second respondent, the petitioner filed an 2/4

appeal in CMA.No.22 of 2022 on the file of Principal Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai.

4. The petitioner approached this Court to de-seal the premises pending disposal of the appeal. Now, the matter has been settled between the petitioner and the first respondent. The settlement has been recorded by the City Civil Court in CMA.No.22 of 2022. The learned counsel also produced the certified copy of the order passed by the City Civil Court in CMA.No.22 of 2022.

5. In view of the same, the prayer in this writ petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
