Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus calling for the entire records in respect of the impugned order passed by the 1st respondent in Na.Ka.No.2994/G2/2011 dated 1.10.2012 and quash the same consequently direct the first to third respondents to allow the petitioner to continue as a Correspondent of the Panditha Malavia Aided Middle School, Ananthalai Walajapet Union, Vellore District.

O R D E R

Challenging the order dated 01.10.2012 passed by the 1st respondent, one P.C.Gopal has come up with the present writ petition. During the pendency of the same, the petitioner died and his wife P.G.Saraswathi, being his legal heir, has been substituted in his place. Similarly, the fourth respondent by name, Arumugam died and his legal heirs have been impleaded as the respondents 5 to 11 in this writ petition. 2.On 05.02.2018, at the request of the learned counsel appearing for the respective parties, the matter was directed to be posted before the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre for arriving at an amicable settlement on 07.03.2018. 3.Accordingly, the second petitioner and the respondents 5 to 11 along with their respective counsel, appeared before the Mediator on 07.03.2018 and on subsequent dates and on 14.06.

2018, they have settled the matter among themselves, as per the terms mentioned in a Joint Memo of Compromise dated 14.06.2018, which is evident from the mediation report sent by the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre. 4.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the respective parties submitted that the parties have arrived at a settlement in respect of the dispute between them and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

5.Recording the same, the writ petition stands closed. The Joint Memo of compromise dated 14.06.2018 entered into between the parties shall form part of this order. No costs.
