By consent of learned counsel on both sides, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The present writ petition is filed seeking for issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 19.04.2025.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 19.04.2025 to the respondents, seeking sub-division and assignment of individual patta in his name in respect of 84 cents of land comprised in Survey No.250/3, situated at Eilupuli Village, Thiruchengode Taluk, Namakkal District. However, the said representation has not been considered so far by the respondents. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has come before this Court.

At the outset, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that in this regard, the petitioner may have to submit an online application, and if any such online application is made, the same would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed by them within a time frame fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner. 2/4

In view of the same and taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents that when such an online application is made by the petitioner, the same should be considered by them on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other interested persons/stake holders, including rival claimants, if any, within a period of twelve

(12) weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for the receipt of a certified copy. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the representation and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the same on its own merits and in accordance with law.
