(Order of the Court made by M.M.SUNDRESH,J.) Though the Petitioner has come forward with a larger relief seeking eviction of the private Respondents, it is submitted that the pending Revision Petition filed by them on 10.05.2018, which is pending before the 1st Respondent herein, may be directed to be disposed of.
From the perusal of the documents, we could see that the matter has been pending for quite a number of years. The eviction order was taken on appeal initially, and thereafter, further Appeal has been preferred. Private respondents lost their case before all the authorities. Now, they have approached the 1st Respondent, who is the final authority under the Act.
In such view of the matter, we direct the 1st Respondent/Secretary to Government, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Chennai, to dispose of the pending Revision Petition filed by the Petitioner on 10.05.2018, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
