ORDER
This contempt petition has been filed alleging noncompliance of the order dated 20.11.2020 passed in W.P. No.16358 of 2020.

cad Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr. A. Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, submitted before this Court, the compliance report dated 26.04.2023 filed on behalf of the first respondent, wherein, it is stated that the aforesaid order has been complied with. The relevant paragraph of the compliance report reads thus:
"7.
It is submitted that on receipt of the said letter, the Assistant Engineer, W.R.O., Irrigation Section, Sankarapuram, measured on 25.04.2023 and removed the said encroachments and thereafter, boundary stones have been installed by him and accordingly, the Assistant Engineer has informed this respondent vide Lr.No.Ko.04/2023/U.Po/Sa dated 25.04.2023 that the entire encroachments made in the subject land have been fully removed in the presence of police authorities and now, the subject land is free from encroachments. It is submitted that the order dated 20.11.2020 made in W.P.No.16358 of 2020 is fully complied with and hence, the above contempt petition is liable to be closed." In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication and accordingly, this contempt petition stands closed.
