O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) We are not inclined to entertain this petition for the simple reason that what it seeks in effect is nullification of the interim order passed by us in W.P.No.13749 of 2015 and other connected matters. The main writ petitions are already pending where we will examine all the issues and interim order has been granted only qua sacrifice of camels.
2.Mr.Jayesh B.Dolia, learned counsel appearing for the Animal Welfare Board of India, present in Court, drew our attention to a newspaper report in the Times of India today to the effect that camels have been still unauthorisedly brought into the State for sacrifice.
3.We are sure that the State Government will take all steps to ensure that our order is not violated and we make it clear that the In-charge of the local police station would be personally responsible in case we find any violation of the order. This aspect be circulated to all the police stations concerned.
4.This writ petition, however, stands dismissed. No costs. s/d- Assistant Registrar True Copy Sub-Assistant Registrar sra To 1.The Chief Secretary, Fort St. George, Secretariat, Chennai 600 009.
