Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to pass orders on the representation made by the petitioner dated 19.09.2014 for appointment on compassionate ground in commensurate with the petitioner's Educational qualification and grant him all consequential service and monetary benefits.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus directing the second respondent to pass orders on the representation made by the petitioner dated 19.09.2014 for appointment on compassionate ground in commensurate with the petitioner's Educational qualification and grant him all consequential service and monetary benefits.

3.In the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition it is stated that the petitioner is an B.Sc. (Computer Science) graduate and his father has served as Police Head Constable and after serving for more than 30 years, died on 02.10.2007, while he was in service leaving behind his wife, daughter and son/ the petitioner herein. The petitioner's mother made a representation on 20.10.2007 to give appointment to the petitioner on compassionate grounds and the second respondent vide proceedings dated 26.04.2013, has stated that the petitioner's name was included in the waiting list, but thereafter no orders were passed and hence, the petitioner made a representation to the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Special Wing on 19.09.2014 and that was forwarded to the Superintendent of Police, Thiruvannamalai, but

the same has not been considered so far. Hence, this petition. 4.Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondents.

5.Though this writ petition is filed for a larger relief, this Court without going into the merits of the same, directs the petitioner to give a fresh representation to the respondents, along with a copy of this order, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the respondents, on receipt of the same is directed to consider the said representation, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of four weeks thereafter.
