O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.114 of 2022 pending on the file of the second respondent police to some other investigating agency, preferably the District Crime Branch at Tiruvarur or the Inspector of, CBCID/Crime Investigation Department at Tiruvarur or any other agency.

2. It is a case of hit and run. The second respondent registered the First Information Report in Crime No.114 of 2022 for the offences under Sections 279 and 337 of IPC. However, the second respondent is not able to find out the vehicle and the investigation is still pending. Therefore, the change of investigation not served any purpose since it is a case of hit and run.

3. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent is directed to file a final report within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The first respondent is directed to monitor the investigation being done by the second respondent.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
