O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the statutory appeal filed by him under Section 47A-(5) of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 pending on its file dated 27.01.2024.

2. Mr.T.Chezhiyan, learned Special Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondents would submit that the appeal of the petitioner would be disposed of within the time fixed by this Court.

3. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the statutory appeal filed by the petitioner dated 27.01.2024 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
