O R D E R

This Writ petition has been filed for a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation / complaint given by the petitioner dated 16.03.2023 wherein the petitioner has sought for non-traceable certificate.

2. Heard Mr.M.Murugesan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents.

The petitioner has given a complaint before the third respondent on 16.03.2023 seeking for non-traceable certificate on the ground that the original parent documents were lost and hence, unless non-traceable certificate is obtained from the police, the petitioner will not be able to proceed further to deal with the property.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on-line complaint was given by the petitioner and thereafter, the petitioner is not co2/4

operating for the enquiry and he is not submitting the necessary documents. In view of the same, the respondent police is not able to act upon the complaint given by the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to appear before the third respondent and to co-operate for the enquiry by submitting all the necessary documents. The third respondent shall conduct enquiry in line with the circular issued by the Director General of Police of Tamil Nadu dated 01.04.2022 and shall take a final decision within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
