This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.03 of 2020 on the file of the first respondent and file the final report.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the first respondent has registered a case in Crime No.03 of 2020 on 05.09.2020, no final report has been filed till date. Hence, the present petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the first respondent has registered the FIR in Crime No.03 of 2020, in which the investigation is under progress. Hence, he seeks three months time to file a final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the same, the first respondent police is directed to file final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed 2/4
