This petition is filed to extend the time for a further period of six months to complete the investigation and file final report before the competent Court in CBCID Metro Cr.Nos.5/2024 under Sections 147, 448, 380, 506(1) of IPC and 3(1) TNPPDL Act and Crime No.6 of 2024 under Section 324 of IPC and Section 4 of Prohibition of Harassmnt of Women Act 2002 as per the direction given by this Court by its order dated 26.03.2024 in Crl.O.P.No.5916 of 2023.

2. Pursuant to the order of this Court dated 26.03.2024, further investigation was ordered by this Court and to file supplementary charge sheet within a a period of three months.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has taken out this petition for extension of six months time to complete the further investigation and file final report.

4. The affidavit filed along with the petition seeking extension of time discloses investigation has been done sofar and need for extension of time.

5. Being convinced with the reason stated by the learned Government Advocate, time is extended by six months from today. Accordingly, this petition is ordered.
