Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to remove the encroachments on (i) Ramakamathupuram Main Road near A/m.Karumariayamman Temple, T.Nagar, Chennai as per online complaint dated 3.11.2022; (ii) Opposite to M.Block of Ramakamathupuram Main Road, T.Nagar, Chennai as per online complaint dated 31.10.2022; (iii) In front of BBC Polaza in the I Land of Bharathi Nagar, T.Nagar, Chennai as per online complaint dated 1.11.2022; (iv) Near Post Office in Habibullah Road, T.Nagar, Chennai as per online complaint dated 1.11.2022; (v) Chari Street Entrance, Usman Road, T.Nagar, Chennai as per online complaint dated 31.10.2022; (vi) Opposite to Reliance Fresh in Parthasarathy Puram, Parthasarathyopuram Lane, T.Nagar, Chennai as per online complaint dated 31.10.2022; and (vii) Opposite to Bharathi Nagar 3rd Street, the way leading to Kodambakkam Railway Station as per online complaint dated 31.10.2022.

(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.K.Muthu Ganesa Pandian, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader, assisted by Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents 1 and 2; Mr.Arun Babu, learned counsel for the third respondent and Mr.R.Muniyapparaj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, assisted by Mr.M.Sylvester John for respondent No.4.
2. Learned State Government Pleader submits that the writ properties would be measured and, if any encroachment is found, action in accordance with law would be undertaken.
3. In view of the said statement made by learned State Government Pleader, the writ petition is disposed. There will be no order as to costs.
