This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to issue a patta in the name of the petitioner in relating to Plot No.580 measuring an extent of 2100 Sq.fts., which is situate in Survey No.29/3B & 29/3C of Thalambur Village, Thiruporur Taluk, Kanchipuram District within a stipulated period of time as fixed by this Court.

2. The property in Plot No.580 measuring an extent of 2100 Sq.fts., which is situate in Survey No.29/3B & 29/3C of Thalambur Village, Thiruporur Taluk, Kanchipuram District was purchased by one Mr.Velu Rajamani. The petitioner purchased the said plot from the said Mr.Velu Rajamani on 03.06.2011by way of Sale Deed vide Doc.No.5091 of 2011. Thereafter, the petitioner applied for transfer of patta in the name of the petitioner to the second respondent on 21.09.2015 by producing all the required documents. But till date no action has been taken on the said representation and hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

4. In view of the submissions made on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, directs the respondents to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 21.09.2015 on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and the Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
