Respondent PRAYER : Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to issue a patta in the name of the petitioner in relating to Plot No.689 measuring 2408 Sq.fts., which is situate in Survey No.411/3 of Semmancheri Village, Sholinganallur Taluk, Kanchipuram District within a stipulated period of time as fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to issue a patta in the name of the petitioner in relating to Plot No.689 measuring 2408 Sq.fts., which is situate in Survey No.411/3 of Semmancheri Village, Sholinganallur Taluk, Kanchipuram District within a stipulated period of time as fixed by this Court.

2. The property in Plot No.689 measuring 2408 Sq.fts., which is situate in Survey No.411/3 of Semmancheri Village, Sholinganallur Taluk, Kanchipuram District was purchased by one Mr.S.Venkatachalam. The petitioner purchased the said plot from the said Mr.S.Venkatachalam, through his Power Agent Mr.C.V.R.Subramaniyam on 20.12.2010 by way of Sale Deed vide Doc.No.6920 of 2010. Thereafter, the petitioner applied for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

transfer of patta in the name of the petitioner to the second respondent on 14.07.2015 by producing all the required documents. But till date no action has been taken on the said representation and hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent.

In view of the submissions made on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, directs the respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 14.07.2015 on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and the Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
