ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition for a mandamus directing the respondent to return his passport bearing No.E4193313 after making necessary correction with respect to his residential address.

2. When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner had already been issued a passport bearing No.K5047118 on 17.08.2012 and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

3. Recording the same, this writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
