This petition is filed to enlarge the petitioner on bail pending investigation in Crime No.530 of 2023 on the file of the Villupuram PEW Police Station, Villupuram District.

2.It is the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is falsely implicated as accused in Cr.No.530 of 2023 for the offences under Sections 4(1)(A), 4(1)(a) of Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act. He is in judicial custody from 25.07.2023. Thus, he seeks bail. 3.In response, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner was found with illegal possession of 30 litres of illicit liquor at about 19.00 hours on 25.07.2023, near Gangarampalayam check post bus stop. He has eight similar previous cases pending against him. Hence, he prays for dismissal of this petition.
