O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to take necessary action against the 4th respondent working in Shop No.446 and other similar person indulging in similar activities detrimental to the respondent Corporation and against the general public, by causing wrongful loss by misusing their official position and to streamline the sale of the liquor vending at its original price.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that, when he visited liquor vending Shop bearing No.446 belonging to the respondent Corporation, the 4th respondent, who was working in the said Shop, demanded a price of Rs.670/- instead of its original price at Rs.630/- and when the petitioner gave Rs.700/-, the 4th respondent gave only Rs.30/- as balance. The petitioner states that he has received necessary Bill to that effect. When the petitioner questioned the same, the 4th respondent acted high handedly. In this regard, the petitioner has given a complaint to the respondent authorities on 07.03.2023 to take necessary action against the 4th

respondent. Since no action has been taken so far, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.Sathish Kumar, learned counsel, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. 4.This Court is of the view that the Writ Court cannot be used for getting directions, as a matter of right, in a routine manner. If it is the grievance of the petitioner that he has paid excess amount to the liquor purchased by him and is in possession of sufficient Bills to that effect, it is for the petitioner to prove the same before the appropriate forum, but not by way of filing a writ petition.
