The petitioners who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(ii) of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition Harassment of Women Act, 2002 in Crime No.453 of 2023, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The date of occurrence was on 29.06.2023. The defacto complainant, is said to be the 3rd wife of the petitioner / 1st accused. There are also two children. It is stated that thereafter, the 1st petitioner had begun a relationship with the 2nd petitioner / 2nd accused and both of them had threatened the defacto complainant to consent for divorce and had also assaulted her with iron road.
