CRL. M.P. NOS. 12869 & 12870 OF 2021 IN CRL. O.P. NO. 16059 OF 2021 M.DHANDAPANI, J.

Vide order dated 06.09.2021 this Court had enlarged the petitioner on anticipatory bail on certain conditions. This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking modification of the conditions and for extension of time to comply with the said conditions.

2. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents, on instruction, strongly opposed these petitions, as the petitioner on his own volition only accepted to deposit the amount, while granting anticipatory bail.

3. As rightly pointed out by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), while granting anticipatory bail, the petitioner on his own volition, came forward to deposit the amount. Now he could not get back from his stand and seek modification of the said condition.

4. In view of the above, the petition in CRL. M.P. NO. 12869 OF 2021, stands dismissed. However, the time is extended by two weeks to deposit the amount as undertaken by the petitioner, while grant of anticipatory bail to him and thereby the petition in CRL. M.P. NO. 12870 OF 2021, is ordered.
