ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking for direct the 2nd respondent to serve the speaking order of rejection to the petitioner for defending the Appeal dated 10.08.2022 and the 1st respondent to cause immediate necessary action on the 1/4
appeal dated 10.08.2022 and the 1st respondent to cause immediate necessary action on the Appeal dated 10.08.2022 of the petitioner for sub division of S.No. 683 /1 of vayalur village and issue Patta in favour of the petitioner and his wife.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner along with his wife submitted their online application seeking for issuance of patta was rejected on 18.07.2022, however, rejection letter was not served to the petitioner. Hence, he filed an appeal before the first respondent on 10.08.2022 and the first respondent orally communicated that sub-division number is wrongly mentioned while applying the application for issuance of patta. The grievance of the petitioner is that he has not been served with the formal rejection letter and the rejection order is passed without any reasons. Hence, seeks for appropriate orders.
3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case and having 2/4
regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel, this Court directs the second respondent to furnish the rejection order dated 18.07.2022 to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order and further directs the first respondent to consider the appeal dated 10.08.2022 filed by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits in accordance with law after providing opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other interested parties within a period of eight weeks thereafter.
