PRAYER:

Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the proceeding of the 3rd Respondent in No.Nil dated 20.04.2007 relating to a Seniority List of Secondary Grade Teachers and consequential panel for the post of headmaster of Elementary School as on 01.01.2007 and quash the same, as far as the Respondents 4 to 20 are concerned and direct the respondent 1 to 3 to give promotion to the petitioners as Headmaster of Elementary School.

ORDER

The petitioner has preferred this Writ Petition challenging the impugned order of the 3rd Respondent in No.Nil dated 20.04.2007 relating to a Seniority List of Secondary Grade Teachers and consequential panel for the post of headmaster of Elementary School as on 01.01.2007 and quash the same and for consequential relief.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that due to subsequent developments in the Seniority List, the relief sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

3.In view of the above, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
