Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representations dated 21.12.2021 and 09.04.2022 sent by the petitioner to the 1st and 2nd respondents seeking appropriate and necessary action on representations and dispose of the same after

giving the petitioner an opportunity to sustain his representations in accordance with law within a time frame that may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.V.Ajay Khose, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.Karthik Jegannath, learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 and 2.

2. Learned Government Advocate submits that by G.O.(D) No.153 dated 08.06.2022, an enquiry officer was appointed to enquire into the misappropriation of funds sanctioned to the University and due to administrative reasons, the enquiry officer has been replaced by G.O.(D) No.188 dated 13.07.2022. He also submitted that the enquiry is going on and it would be concluded as expeditiously as possible, preferably within eight weeks and the petitioner, if required,

would be given an opportunity of personal hearing.

3. Recording the above statement, the writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. (R.M.D., ACJ.) (M.S.Q., J.) 06.06.2024 Index :
