This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for police protection based on the complaint / representation made by the petitioner on 03.06.2023.

When the matter came up for hearing on 01.09.2023, this Court directed the learned Additional Public Prosecutor to take instructions and to report before this Court. Accordingly, the matter was posted for hearing today.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the subject property absolutely belongs to the petitioner and even the revenue authorities have also confirmed through their letter dated 19.07.2021 that the subject property belongs to the petitioner and that an attempt is made by the persons living adjacent to the property to use it as a 2/5
Play Ground. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the respondent police will act as per the directions given by this Court. 4.
In the considered view of this Court, the subject property absolutely belongs to the petitioner and it has also been confirmed by the Revenue Authorities and no one can prevent the petitioner from enjoying the property. In view of the same, if any disturbance is caused to the petitioner, the third respondent shall provide necessary police protection and shall take action against persons who are attempting to create a law and order problem and proceed further in accordance with law. 5.
This Criminal Original petition is disposed of in the above terms.
