Nagar, Chennai 600 082, comprised in R.S. No. 37 / 1 and 37/ 2 Corresponding T.S. No.37 ( as per Document ) and T.S. No. 177 in Block No.12 ( as per Patta ) of Peravallur Village, PurasawalkamPerambur Taluk, Chennai District of an extent 3189 1/2 Sq.Ft and 570 Sq.Ft Pathway (in WMP.No.26908 of 2021) till Pending disposal of this WP.No.25466 of 2021.

The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the son of the complainant. She initiated proceedings against the petitioner under the Maintenance of Parents and Senior Citizens Act. However, the 1st respondent, without conducting any enquiry and proper adjudication, had passed the impugned order by directing the 3rd respondent to cancel the Settlement Deed executed in favour of the petitioner. Challenging the same, the present Writ Petition has been filed. Further, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner on instructions, submitted that the petitioner is ready to pay a sum of Rs.12,500/- as maintenance to his mother.
2. In view of the undertaking given by the petitioner to pay a monthly maintenance of Rs.12,500/- to his mother, there shall be an order of interim stay as prayed for and the petitioner is directed to deposit a sum of Rs.12,500/- (Rupees Twelve Thousand Five Hundred Only) to the credit of her Bank Account, on or before fifth of every english calender month and the 2nd respondent and the petitioner shall not alienate the property, till the disposal of the Writ Petition. -sd/- 30/11/2021 / TRUE COPY / Sub Assistant Registrar ( Statistics / C.S. ) High Court, Madras - 600 104.
