By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property comprised in S.Nos.38/1B, 38/2, 38/3 and 38/4, measuring an
extent of 3 acres and 2 cents, situated at Thulukkanur Village, Attur Taluk, Salem District.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is the absolute owner of the agricultural land comprised in S.Nos.38/1B, 38/2, 38/3 and 38/4, measuring an extent of 3 acres and 2 cents, situate at Thulukkanur Village, Attur Taluk, Salem District and Patta has also been issued in the name of the petitioner vide Patta No.68. 3.1. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner submitted an online application dated 14.05.2025, seeking survey and to demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's property and paid necessary charges. Since the petitioner's application was not considered by the respondent, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.
4. At the outset it is submitted by the learned Government Advocate that they would consider the petitioner's online application and carry out a survey, demarcate the subject property and complete the process within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned
counsel for the petitioner.
5. In view thereof, this Writ Petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 14.05.2025 and carry out survey and measure the petitioner's land and pass appropriate orders after putting the petitioner, adjacent land owners and any other rival claimants, if any on notice within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of upload of web copy of the order without waiting for the receipt of certified copy. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any view with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the case on its own merits and in accordance with law. No costs.
