Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to consider the representation dated 16.08.2022 to remove all types of encroachments in S.No.16, Dhachinavarthi Village, Thiruporur Taluk, Chengalpattu, belonging to Sarkar Poramboke and restore the water body or water course to the original shape, size, capacity etc., and to initiate departmental and or criminal action against the erring officials in the matter. ORDER
(Order of the Court was delivered by The Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) When the matter is taken up, Mr.R.Aswin, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader, for the respondents, jointly submitted that pursuant to the direction of this Court dated 10.10.2022, the second respondent has removed the encroachment. To substantiate the same, learned State Government Pleader has produced the compliance report dated Nil. filed by the Tahsildar, Thiruporur Taluk, Chengalpattu District, along with the photographs. Recording the joint statement made by the learned counsel for both parties, the writ petition is closed. No Costs.
