O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to survey his property situated in Survey No.26/20 of No.39, Thannilappadi Village, Kilvelur Taluk, Nagapattinam District measuring 2.25 ares = 2421 sq.ft., within the time fixed by this Court.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that a Manaivari Thoraya Patta was issued to him under a Natham Nilavari Thittam and he has been in possession and enjoyment of the same. The petitioner submitted a representation before the 2nd respondent on 29.01.2024 seeking survey of the land. The petitioner also paid necessary charges as per the E-Challan No.20230712003140, dated 12.07.2023. The request of the petitioner for survey has not been considered by the 2nd respondent till date. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the online application of the petitioner will be considered by the 2nd respondent on its own merits and in accordance with law. 2/4

In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 12.07.2023 in EChallan No.20230712003140 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
