Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of Mandamus to direct the 5th respondent to sanction and disburse the amount towards sum of Rs.4,04,748/-(Rupees Four Lakhs Four Thousand and Seven Hundred and Forty Eight Only) expenditure incurred for the maintenance of water pipeline etc., as stated in Resolution No.4 dated 20.01.2010 in accordance with the 4th respondent proceedings in Na.Ka.No.2573/2010/A6 dated 15.07.2010.

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 5th respondent to disburse the total sum of Rs.4,04,748/-(Rupees Four Lakhs Four Thousand and Seven Hundred and Forty Eight Only) towards the expenditure incurred for the maintenance of water pipeline etc., as stated in Resolution No.4 dated 20.01.2010 in accordance with the 4th respondent proceedings in Na.Ka.No.2573/2010/A6 dated 15.07.2010 to the petitioner.
2. Heard Mr.V.Harikrishnan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.N.Manikandan, learned Government Advocate for the respondents.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that out of total sum of Rs.4,04,748/-(Rupees Four Lakhs Four Thousand and Seven Hundred and Forty Eight Only), the 5th respondent so far has paid only Rs.1,32,650/-(Rupees One Lakh Thirty Two Thousand Six Hundred and Fifty Only).
4. As per the earlier order of this Court dated 23.03.2018, Mr.A.Santhanam, Block Development Officer, Thiruvallur Panchayat Union @ Ekkadu, Thiruvallur District is present and assisted the Court today and submitted that the petitioner was already paid part of the amount and the balance amount would be paid within a period of three weeks from today.
5. The statements of the Block Development Officer, Thiruvallur Panchayat Union @ Ekkadu, Thiruvallur District, is recorded.
6. In the light of the above statement, no further adjudication in this writ petition is required. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
