issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner representation dated 16.06.2025 and consequently direct the respondents to confer time bound promoting to the petitioner as Senior Assistant Engineer-w.e.f. 01.07.2007 with arrears and monetary benefits by giving effect to G.O.Ms.No.13 Transport (C1) Department dated 14.01.2000 in the light of the order made in W.A. No.1100 of 2014 dated 12.07.2024.

Mr.N.Naveen Kumar, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the first respondent. Mr.M.Murali Vinodh, learned Standing Counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondents 2 to 4. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.06.2025 and consequently direct the respondents to confer time bound promotion to the petitioner as 2/5
Senior Assistant Engineer-w.e.f. 01.07.2007 with arrears and monetary benefits by giving effect to G.O.Ms.No.13 Transport (C1) Department dated 14.01.2000 in the light of the order made in W.A. No.1100 of 2014, dated 12.07.2024.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given representation to the respondents on 16.06.2025 claiming time bound promotion on par with similarly placed persons and such representation is still pending before the respondents.
4.At this juncture, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 2 to 4 would submit that the respondents would consider the petitioner's representation within a reasonable time. 5.In such view of the matter, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, deems it appropriate to direct the second respondent to consider the above representation of the petitioner upon its own merits and in accordance with law and pass orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5
