ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) This writ petition, styled as a public interest litigation, is filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to issue necessary order to remove the name of Matriculation from each and every matriculation school and put up the name as private school across the length and breadth of the State of Tamil Nadu by considering the representations made by the petitioner dated 7.12.2019, 22.2.2021 and 15.5.2023.

2. The relief as sought by the petitioner cannot be issued by this Court. This Court cannot direct the respondents to take a policy decision in a particular manner, unless the same is contrary to Rules or some mala fide is alleged. It is for the experts in the field to consider the pros and cons and all relevant factors and

eventually take a decision.

3. Considering that fact that the petitioner had already sent a series of reminders to the respondents, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 7.12.2019, 22.2.2021 and 15.5.2023 at the earliest.
