After the award was passed on 24.04.2003 in I.D.Nos.20 to 22 of

2001, by the Labour Court, the 1st respondent in the above Writ Appeals had filed computation petitions under Section 33(C)(ii) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947. The Labour Court had also computed the claim as per the award for backwages and other benefits. 2.The Tamil Nadu Housing Board (TNHB) / appellant had also complied with the orders passed in the computation petitions and paid the amounts to the 1st respondents in the above Writ Appeals. In other words, the TNHB had accepted the award and complied with the directions therein. Having done so, it would not be now open to them to challenge the award again. Hence, we do not find any merits in these writ appeals and the same stand dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected C.M.Ps are closed.
