The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the 1st respondent to select and appoint the petitioner to the post of Post Graduate Assistant in view of the employment exchange seniority.
2.The Affidavit filed in support of the writ petition states that, the Writ Petitioner has completed under Graduation in April 1977, and Post Graduation in November 1979. Further, the
petitioner has completed B.Ed., Course in October 1981, and registered her name in District Employment Exchange. Before considering the merits and demerits of the case on hand, this Court is prima facie of the opinion that at the time of filing of the writ petition, the writ petitioner was aged about 53 years and now she would be about 60 years of age. 3.This apart, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents produced a copy of the instructions given by Teachers' Recruitment Board to the Government Pleader, (Education) in proceedings Rc.No.5439/B1/2010 dated 30.08.
2010 and the instructions reads as follows:- "In this connection, I am to state that in accordance with Government Orders, the Board has taken measures to recruit Post Graduate Assistant to Government Higher Secondary Schools based on employment. Accordingly, the Teachers Recruitment Board requested the Assistant Director, Professional Employment to sponsor candidates at the ratio 1:5 following communal reservation. The Teachers Recruitment Board conducted the certificate verification on 12.03.2010.
The writ petitioner was one among the candidate sponsored by the employment exchange for the Post Graduate Assistant in Economics. A call letter was sent to her on 04.03.2010 to attend certificate verification. But the writ petitioner was absent for the certificate verification. Hence, the Teachers Recruitment Board could not select the candidate for the post of Post Graduate Assistant in Economics." 4.In view of the above said factual position, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken in respect of the grounds raised in the writ petition. Accordingly the Writ Petition stands dismissed.
Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
