ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondent from allotting/installing any new petrol stations within 300 meter distance from the Petitioner's allotted petrol station, at RS.No.193/14 and 193/17 (part), Bahur-Cuddalore Main Road, Soriankuppam Village, Bahour Commune, Pondicherry and to strictly follow the rules and guidelines of Indian Roads Congress and the Town and Country Planning Authority of Pondicherry for the new allotments of petrol stations.

2. The apprehension of the Petitioner is that if any petrol station is allowed to operate in the very same area where his petrol station is functioning, it will violate 300 meter jurisdiction. Since it is in the preliminary stage, the Petitioner is always at liberty to object the same pointing out the relevant rules and guidelines. According to the Petitioner, he has also made a representation dated 5.9.016, raising https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

objections. Therefore, the Respondent Corporation will take note of the relevant rules and guidelines and pass appropriate orders on the representation of the Petitioner dated 5.9.2016, after giving notice to the parties, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

3. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected MP is closed. Sd/- Asst. Registrar.
