Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the second respondent herein to consider the representation of the petitioner herein dated

07.07.2022 and consequently to inspect the school premises, viz: Seventh Day Adventist Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Vepery, Chennai - 600 007 and to take action against the said Mr.Vedhanayagam and to remove him from the post of Principal and Correspondent.

ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We heard Mr.G.Gokul, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader assisted by Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 3.

2. Learned State Government Pleader submits that the fourth respondent is already relieved as a Principal by the Management with effect from 01.01.2021 and now, Mr.A.Jothy Baskar is officiating as Principal.

3. The grievance of the petitioner in the writ petition is that the fourth respondent is not qualified to be a Principal. As the fourth respondent is no longer a Principal, nothing survives in the present writ petition.

4. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
