Respondents This case is taken up for settlement before this Lok Adalat. Both the parties are present. Ms.V.Ramya V.Rao, learned counsel for appellant and, Mr.D.Baskaran, learned counsel for the second respondent are present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows:
AWARD This Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to allow the appeal and enhance the compensation in MCOP.No.2603 of 2018 dated 21.04.2022 on the file of the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal / I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Cuddalore.
2. The learned counsel for the appellant sought permission of this Court to withdraw the present appeal, in view of the settlement order in C.M.A.No.1831 of 2022 and she has also made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle.
3. In view of the submission coupled with an endorsement made by the learned counsel for the appellant and also the settlement arrived in the aforesaid C.M.A.No.1831 of 2022, this Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
