Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the fourth respondent to consider and pass order on the petitioner's representation dated 09.08.2023. The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the fourth respondent to consider his representation dated 09.08.2023 and pass orders.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he is a differently abled person having 75% of disability. The petitioner submitted a representation to the fourth respondent dated 09.08.2023 seeking license for opening a bunk shop near RSMR Hospital, Royapuram, Chennai, on the road side. The said representation is pending for consideration by the fourth respondent. 2/4

3. Mrs.S.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mrs.P.T.Ramadevi, learned Standing Counsel (GCC) takes notice for the respondents 4 & 5.

4. In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the fourth respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.08.2023 and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
