At the instance of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is listed today under the caption "for being mentioned". When the matter was came up on 23.09.2022, it was mentioned as no case no petition, therefore, this Court pleased to passed an order. However, it was brought to the knowledge of this Court that enquiry is pending in C.No.244 of 2022, thereby, the matter is directed to listed today.

2. The petitioner, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 420, 465 and other sections of IPC in Crime No. Not known, seeks anticipatory bail.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the petition enquiry in C.No.244 of 2022 is pending against the petitioner.

4. The learned Counsel for the petitioners submitted that the respondent police is harassing the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry and if any prima facie case is made out against the petitioner, register the F.I.R or close the petition enquiry within a period of two weeks from today. The parties are directed to cooperate with the enquiry. It is needless to say that the respondent police shall not take any coercive steps to secure the accused till the completion of enquiry on the complaint lodged by the defacto complainant.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
