ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to sanction the educational loan for the petitioner's daughter namely Sandhiya.P.S pursuing her B.E in ECE course at Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Engineering College by processing the petitioner's loan application vide ANSCSIS-2927505-543210 dated 04.12.2023.

2. Since no adverse order has been passed against the respondent, notice to the respondent is dispensed with.

The case of the petitioner is that, he has applied educational loan for his daughter in the respondent bank to a tune of Rs.4,00,000/- to meet her educational needs and the same was digitally approved on 04.12.2023. However, till date, the respondent bank has not sanctioned or processed the said loan. Therefore, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition for appropriate orders.

4. Though very many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a Page No.2 of 4

direction to the respondent to sanction the petitioner's educational loan application dated 04.12.2023 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a particular time frame to be fixed by this Court.

Considering the limited request sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's educational loan application dated 04.12.2023 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as aggrieved persons if any, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
