(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.N.R.Elango, learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Prasad Vijayakumar, learned counsel for the respondents.

2. Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that in view of the subsequent enactments, nothing would survive in the writ petition and seeks leave to withdraw the writ petition.

3. Leave is granted and the writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, WMP Nos.24148 and 24150 of 2022 are closed.
