Claiming patta based upon prolonged possession over the Government land situated in Survey No. 25/1, Kanjur Village, Gingee Vattam, Villupuram District, to an extent of 0.32 cents, the petitioner sought for issuance of patta by an application dated 12.11.2015. Mr.P.Karthikeyan, learned Government Advocate, takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both sides, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final hearing.

Considering the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without going into the merits of the case, the 3rd respondent is directed to dispose of the said application filed by the petitioner dated 12.11.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
