ORDER
The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 3(2)(a), 4(2)(c) & 5(1)(d) of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956 in Crime No.375 of 2023, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner/A2 is running a saloon and he has employed A1 as Manager and he is taking care of the saloon and the petitioner has nothing to do with the activities of A1, however it was now been projected as though, A1 had employed two women for prostitution and thereafter the place was raided and the petitioner, on the confession of other accused had been arrayed as an accused.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that in this case, the decoy was standing in a bus stand and A1 had him to the saloon and there he had introduced two girls for prostitution and thereafter the decoy Page No.2 of 4
had come out and lodged a complaint and thereafter, the police had gone there and rescued two women who had forcibly involved in prostitution and further submitted that the petitioner is the owner of the saloon who had been running the prostitution centre an hence strongly opposed granting of the bail.
4. Considering the gravity of the offence committed by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
