ORDER
The petitioner seeks Mandamus to dispose of his representation da ted 22.06.2019 given to respondents 1 to 5 requesting them not to issue any permit to respondents 6 and 7 to put up industrial unit in the residential area namely, Vinayaga Nagar, Kuruppannaickanpalayam, Uratchikottai Village, Bhavani Taluk, Erode District.
2. Subsequent to filing of the writ petition, it appears that the Special Officer, Kuruppannaickanpalayam Panchayat has caused notice to respondents 6 and 7 not to proceed with establishing any industrial unit, without proper permission.
3. Since the respondents 1 to 5 have now acted upon the representation of the petitioner by causing notice dated 22.08.2019, this Court is of the opinion that nothing survives in this writ petition, except to record the fact that the Special Officer and the third respondent-Panchayat shall ensure, no industrial activity contrary to Rule is established without prior permission in the Vinayaga Nagar residential area. 4, Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
