O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to quash the order, dated 27/10/2021, passed by the first respondent, in Na.Ka.No.3119/2021/A5, wherein the first respondent invoking the power, under Sections 203 and 204 (2) of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994, suspended the power of signing the cheques by the petitioner for a period of six months.

2. Heard Mr.T.Sellapandian, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.J.Ravindran, learned Additional Advocate General for the respondents 1 to 3.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 produced a copy of the Proceeding, dated 3/1/2023, issued by the District Collector, wherein it is stated that petitioner's power to sign the cheque has been restored. Page No:2/4

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that recording the same, this writ petition may be closed.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. Proceeding, dated 3/1/2023, issued by the District Collector shall form part of the record. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. 24/1/2023 mvs.
