The petitioner has filed this petition seeking for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 10.08.2022 and to issue Patta in respect of the property situated at Plot No.B-18, Old Door No.22, New Door No.31, Seventy Feet Road, Jawahar Nagar, Chennai - 600 082, measuring an extent of 3,180 Sq.ft., comprised in R.S.No.274, T.S.No.13 and Block No.37.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners have made an application dated 10.08.2022 for mutation of revenue records before the respondents, however, the said application was rejected on the ground that the petitioners have allegedly purchased the property in T.S.No.13 and Block No.37 of Peravallur Village. Hence the correct Survey Number and the property situated comprised in T.S.No.8 and Block No.36 of Peravallur Village. Hence, this Court may grant liberty to the petitioner to prepare rectification deeds.

3. In view of the above, this Court grants liberty to the petitioners to execute a rectification deed and executing the same, the petitioners are further directed to file a fresh application before the respondents for mutation of revenue records.

4. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 26.10.2022 vm Index :
