(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.R.Chakkaravarthy, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.A.Edwin Prabhakar, learned State Government Pleader, assisted by Mr.T.K.Saravanan, learned Government Advocate, for respondents 1, 3 to 5 and Mr.C.Kalaichelvan, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent No.2.
2. The second respondent has filed a counter-affidavit certifying that there is no proposal for acquisition of land in S.No.21/1 and the apprehension of the petitioner is unwarranted.
In view of the said statement, the writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
