Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the order passed by the 2nd respondent relating to the order in Memo No.3845/G.13/G.132/2007-1 dated 10.1.07 and quash the same and direct the respondents to promote the petitioner to the post of Junior Engineer (Electrical) Grade I with all consequential and monetary benefits.

Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted before this Court that the relief sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous, since the respondents had already given promotion to the petitioner.
