PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation concerned in Crime No.60 of 2019 pending on the file of the second respondent police to any other competent agency to conduct investigation and to file final report within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court based on the complaint of the petitioner dated 17.06.2019. O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation concerned in Crime No.60 of 2019 pending on the file of the second respondent police to any other competent agency to conduct investigation and to file a final report based on the complaint of the petitioner dated 17.06.2019 within a stipulated time.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that there is no sufficient progress in the investigation and therefore, he seeks for transfer of investigation.

3. Today, when the matter was called, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the investigation has been completed and the final report has also been lodged and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.1052 of 2019 before the learned Magistrate No.II, Erode. As such, no effective orders can be passed in the present petition. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
