Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the 3rd respondent proceedings in Employment Notice No.3/Academic/2019 and Employment Notice.No.4/Non-Academic/2019 for various posts, published in the respondent website issue dated 17.07.2019 by the 3rd respondent herein and quash the same and consequently direct the 3rd respondent Institute to regularize the services of the petitioners as a Lecturer/Junior Research Officer, Web Designer, Assistant Librarian and Lower Division Clerk in the 3rd respondent Institute with effect from the date of their initial appointment. Despite the matter being listed on 26.08.2025, 02.09.2025 and 16.09.2025, there was no representation for the petitioners.

Learned Senior Panel Counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the issue involved in the present writ petition was subject matter of decision in W.P.No.29545 of 2012 and batch in favour of the petitioners and on the respondents therein filing writ appeal vide W.A.No.1170 of 2021 and batch; a Division Bench of this Court vide order dated 28.06.2024, had allowed the writ appeals and the order of learned Single Judge were set aside. Learned Senior Panel Counsel thus, submits that in view of the order of the Division Bench, the writ petition is liable to be dismissed.

4. Having regard to the aforesaid submission and taking note of the fact that as there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners on the previous date of hearing and also today, only goes to show that the petitioners are not interested to pursue the present writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
