The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to pass orders on the representation dated 12.04.2015. 3.
According to the petitioner, the second respondent vide proceedings dated 20.05.2013 issued a show cause notice to show cause why he had not reported duties since November 2011 in view of the fact that his superannuation was fast approaching on 30.06 .2013. For which, the petitioner sent a reply dated 27.05.2013 stating that he was suffering from illness and on continuous treatment, he was to join on the last date of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
superannuation. However, the respondent have not passed any orders and hence, he made a representation dated 12.04.2015 seeking terminal benefits. Since no order has been passed, the petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition.
4. This Court heard the submissions Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

This Court, considering the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition and without going into merits, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.04.2015 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken by him, to the petitioner herein.

The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
